EMOTING

Having problems with emoting? Don't really know what to do with clients? Blocking on stage? If so, please take a look, we hope it will help you.  Remember - we are always here to help.  Don't be afraid to ask!

Here are some good tips for a good emote ( /me - always start with that, that's how you erase ":" between your name and text )

So, the most important thing is to close your eyes and just imagine. You are irresistible and you know it. You are full of confidence.  You are a goddess on stage. You are a wild cat that loves to play with her food. You love to tease the clients and make them desire you more and more. It turns you on. You are a dangerous temptation. You know what you want and you know the way to get it. You are full of energy. You are the center of attention and you enjoy every minute of it! You are a powerful goddess. You have to BELIEVE that. Only then will you make the client believe it too.

It's really not hard when you get into it.  And when you are into it - take notes from yourself! Sometimes you just get horny and full of fantasies, so write it down, take notes.  Use these fantasies and ideas when you get a writer's block on stage.  Writer's block is possible for anyone!  So it's a good idea to have a few ideas already written up or some ideas with key words to help you through the block.

Also NEVER use translators and emote HUD's in local chat, because it is really not cool and clients don't like it.   They like it when we try and give our best.  If you don't know English, it can be hard, yes, but better use Google than SL translators.

So, always describe what you do as you dance on stage.  Describe things in terms of your senses.  What do you see?  What do you hear?  What do you feel?  What do you taste or smell?  Describe what your body is doing while your dancing.  What is the position of your body?  How do your muscles feel?  What does your skin look like?  How are you moving your arms, butt and legs? What is the expression of your face, your eyes, your lips while you dance or when you look at the client? How does your body, your eyes, your lips, your hair, your breasts, your butt, your legs look? How does the fabric of your clothes feel or look? Use colorful adjectives to make your emote stand out... think of colors, shapes, smell, etc...

Engage with your client.  Include him with the emotes.  When you kiss a client to thank him, he is not close to you. How you do it? You blow a kiss on the air while on stage? You step down from stage? You pull him close to you? You jump on his lap?  Always imagine the picture of what you do. The more detailed and colorful you will describe it, the more he will like it. But don't go all crazy and write him a novel, no one likes huge emotes that take half an hour to write and then read.

We've included a few emote examples.  Copy them, paste them into a notecard, play with them and make them yours.  You'll feel better having a few created and in your back pocket (who can have a back pocket wearing lingerie - but you know what we mean).  Here area a few emote examples :

/me runs her hands from her tight stomach up to her full firm breasts.  She cups them in her hands and taking each soft pink nipple between her fingers and pinches them.  She revels in your eyes on her as she enjoys the pleasure of that tight pinch and the pleasurable ache it creates. A breathy moan escapes from between her slightly parted lips..mmmmm

/me steps out her pole…goes to the edge of her stage and smiles devilishly as she starts to dance seductively to the sexy people on the dance floor…slides her hands up and down her body feeling her hard nipples thru the thin fabric…reaches the bottom on her upper clothe and pulls it up playfully giving a sneak peek of what’s under her clothes before she takes it back to its place…blows kisses out to everyone before she goes back to her pole.

/me twirls around the pole as she reaches the stage turns her back to the dance floor and slides her hands down her body revealing her desirable formed body to staring eyes…looks back winking invitingly and blows a sexy kiss.

WHAT A CLIENT WANTS

Interact with the client. Tease him. Flirt him. Play with him. Never forget that clients love feeling noticed and special. The key in keeping their attention is to never show that you lost interest to them.  Use their name in emotes.  Be outgoing and talkative with them so that they won't get bored, but also use all your charm in your emotes. Never emote like you are alone describing only the way you dance or you look.   This will make them feel like they watch a film, which is not what they are here for. You must INTERACT with them. Look at them while you dance. Kiss or hug them when being tipped. Touch their body if they sit close to you. Go close to their ear to talk to them so that they will feel your breath. Rub on their body as you dance. Let them help you to take off an item of clothing of if they want to.

Be a constant tease and they will love you for that! Make sure they notice your curvy butt as you step away from them and your firm breasts pressing on their body as you hug them. Lean close to their face so that they will feel your hot breath on their lips while you talk to them. Run your fingernails on their chest to make them shiver when you thank them for their tip. Rub your butt on their pants and then step away. Play with the waistline of your panties so that they will anticipate more before you take them off.
Engage yourself in the emote... find a sexy action to show how interested you are in client.
If you are bored, then the client will also get bored. You lose the game.

Not sure what a client wants?  Listen to them.  Ask them questions.  Invite them to ask YOU questions.  You'll learn a lot about their desires based on the questions they ask.

APPEARANCE

It is important to look good, of course it is, but no one asks for 800L$ shoes and 1000L$ outfits and all, it doesn't have to be expensive, especially nowadays when you can get great stuff for a really low price. Mix and match, shop like crazy, we're women, it's in our nature. We highly recommend marketplace, cause who has time to go through all stores in SL, marketplace is much faster and better (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/).

Also a WOW effect is very important, you need something to make clients want and remember you.  You need something to draw them in... try wearing wings sometimes, or a halo, maybe horns, chastity belt, or a crazy hair, something that will clients remember you for, find something really cool and make it your trademark :) Also, we're strippers, we should wear sexy, interesting clothes, don't come dancing in a gown for the love of God.

MANNERS

Ok,the most important thing, MANNERS. If you're a great emoter, with best avatar ever,if you have no manners, clients won't even look at you and you'll be broke forever. Clients usually visit clubs because they want relax and have a casual sexy fun. So, when clients come, politely greet ( some guys like to be called Sir's better than names, turns them on, makes them feel important ) and start a casual sexy conversation, don't attack them and bore them to death ( follow the instructions stated above).

RULES and GUIDELINES

- If client is standing on the floor, or sitting in front of other girl, DO NOT IM, because it is really impolite and rude, and not at all professional. Wait till he IM's you first ALWAYS!!

- Never go AFK on stage, if need to go AFK, get off the stage and sit somewhere or go to the dressing room... We all have our RL, no one will punish you cause you have to go check something, answer your phone, eat etc.

- If you crash,it is fine! SL has a mind of it's own, just apologize and continue your thing....but if you come back after 30 mins then you should relog at your home, cause another girl has probably taken your pole by now.

- Never push guys, never tell them to sit in front of you or to come and kiss you or bla bla, especially not to tip you! That just makes you look desperate. Let them choose which girl they want and where they want to sit

- In club rules it is stated, when you come and sit on a pole, you should work for at least an hour...if you don't have time, rather don't come and then leave after 5 minutes, cause it is not cool or professional

- Do not ask too many personal RL questions, most people use SL to escape RL ! Age and country is ok, why not, share a little, but asking where he works, what car he drives, names of his children or his mother's hair color is just too much, and frankly, who gives a shit!

- Be good to noobs, they may have no money at the minute, but if you're nice, there's a big chance they'll come later and "thank you generously" for being so nice and welcoming, when they actually realize how to buy lindens
